Can you wear the UGG boots in the snow/rain ?

I'm curious to know if you can wear thwm in the snow or rain. Do your feet get wet ? Do the boots get ruined ? What happen to them ? Did you ever tried. I need suggestions. I was thinking about buying them. What should I do ? Thanks.
