Becoming a pro soccer player.?

Im 14 and I feel like im a good player. I live in American and play for a rec team. Im in the 8th grade and im wondering if I should join my local club. The reason being that the high school im going to play at is a private shool and very small. The school does have a history of great athletics. Do I need to join the club?
