Why is it so difficult to meet love? I just don't understand it and am suffering from this. Please advise me?

I'm a woman of 48 who thankfully looks and feels about 33. This is due to keeping active and eating well. I've had a good career and lots of lovely friends. My only heartache is that is seems so difficult to have a relationship which works and lasts. Sure I've had two serious boyfriends, one for a year and a half who wanted to marry but I wasn't into him enough to settle. The second was 14 years younger and ended the relationship after 4 years as he couldn't commit for a life. I am a good person and would love to meet someone with whom it works. I've tried dance cles, travelling and even internet dating clubs all to no avail. I usually go about my day without focussing on this as I tend to take it in my stride. This helped by the fact that I often get asked out and do feel attractive. The problem is that I'm only really attracted to much younger guys. I don't want a guy who has children. However, after the most recent breakup with a guy of 24 (we dated for 2 months) I feel that it is so hopeless. This hurt me a bit as I liked him so much even though he had a serious drink problem and knew it couldn't continue. I started saying to myself 'am I a ?', it was that bad! I know I'm not a of course but why is it so difficult? Thanks for any advice.

Docters are no help...?

so about 2 years ago these little white bumps appeared around the outside of my . I was a minor with no insurance and mom didnt seem to care, so I'm just now, within the past 6 months getting to a docter. The first docter did a pap, STD and bacterial infections tests. She seen the bumps when I pointed them out but said that they didnt resemble any STDs, or anything familiar to her. So she sent me to a obgyn. They said it was normal and I was fine. I wasnt settling with that, so I researched it on the internet and found something called Fordyce spots. The pictures is what made me believe thats what it is, im going to the dermatologist soon. but then about 2 months ago i noticed a bump on my cervix, and it went away and came back and went away again. I had a yeast infection about a month ago and I noticed a lump on the right side(outside) of my , near the oris. it went away with the yeast infection so i thought it was related. but I've had a few times since then, and everytime it reappears. Im not sure if this is all related, (all my luck probably not)...the first dr appointments results were all positive I have no STDs or Bacterial infections. i went to the obgyn after the yeast infection and i mentioned the bump on my cervix (although it wasnt there when the day of my appointment) and the reappearing lump on the outside. she said i was fine, it was normal. this doesnt happen for no reason, there has to be something causing this. please help! I cant afford to keep going to the docter, and I feel like theyre not going to help me unless i tell them what wrong with me...

I have a mini coleman propane grill/oven how do i use it? please help?

You will see an attachment on the side, it's a little round thing that sticks out, when you go to use you turn the propane tank around like you would if you are attaching a hose to a spout. When it is on as tightly as you can get it you can light your match put in near the grill and turn the grill dial on. Keep your head back and if it doesn't light right away turn the dial off and try again. You won't likely need to light the oven but if you do open it, light your match and put near the element on the bottom then turn the oven on, it should light right away if not turn the dial off and try again. If you have more trouble then that at this concert just go up to any coleman stove and ask for help. Their's doesn't need to be as fancy as yours, Coleman products all hook up the same way to propane tanks and light the same as well. Oh and as long as you have the propane tank, the oven and the drip tray you are good to go, trust me I have one.

I would like to see a power plant that sits on a sunny beach. I work for a small business (8 employees). In 2007, our company owner decided it was time to retire and quickly made arrangements to sell to another small business owner. As part of the selling "incentive" she offered five employees a contract that stated if we remained with the company for one year, she would pay us each a $5,000 cash bonus..Incidently, she did not actually offer us the contract until after the sale had already been made, so technically she was no longer our employer. We did not know this at the time however. Long story short, one year goes by and we each receive a cashiers check for $5,000. On January 31, 2009, we each received a 1099misc. The payor, is listed as the former owner's name, LLC. ( a new consulting firm she has started);box 7 is checked (non-employee compensation).This box would clify each of us as being self employed or independent contractors, which is not correct. I called the IRS helpline for istance and spoke with someone who reminded me of a 3rd grader reading out of a college level workbook, so that wasn't helpful. They did tell me that those should be considered wages. Is this true and if so, wages from whom? She was no longer our employer. So here is where I am with this. It is my understanding that a 1099 is not the correct form and that at w2 should have been sent to me. Nothing was taxed, obviously, and as "wages earned" the former owner was also required to contribute to a portion of the taxes (SS tax, FICA.. ) I am confused as to how to claim this, what to do next, mad as hell that I have to pay tax on it when, as far as I am concerned, it was a gift to 5 individuals for our years of hard work as well as a means to convince the new owners to buy the company . Don't give off names, but tell me ur experience with that teacher. The weirdest teacher i had was probably my 8th grade teacher. He did this really weird thing where he stared at a certain student and then he calls on some other kid randomly. Is there a polite way to try to lessen the chances of getting a diaper cake etc. at your baby shower? Would be great except...we are cloth diapering. Can I just let the person throwing the shower know that in case someone asks her for suggestions? Long lasting Cough over 8 days with dark mucus discharge?

I have had this cough now for little over 8 days now, the first day it was a dry itchy throat over next 3-4days it turned into a bad cough. At first i thought it was a cold or flu so i was taking some NyQuil to get rid of it, well at night as im going to bed im all good and usualy for the first 2-3hrs after i wake up in the morning. But i still cough alot during the day time with the occasional dark mucus coming up. Why won't the lights on my trailer work?

I have a 5x8 CARRY on utility trailer and Im having a little trouble with the lights. If you were looking from the backside of the trailer, it would be the right side. The running light isn't working but the blinker and the brake lights work. The orange reflector on the side that is always on isn't working either. My almost 9 month old has never had formula. She does take an occasional bottle of milk. I do not pump regularly as I rarely leave her. I do keep bottles of frozen milk in case something comes up. Sometimes it is hard (not complaining, just stating a fact) to plan the rare date or girls night out. I have to make sure I have milk thawing, pump ahead of time, etc. I never know how much to take out, etc. I know you can thaw it under warm water right before feeding, but having it ready makes it easier on Dad or the sitter, and eases my mind that it is going to be easier on them. My question is, is it okay to start giving her an occasional bottle of formula? I know she may not like it, but I would wean her onto it slowly. Maybe putting a bit in her cereal or in a sippy. Is this okay, and is it wrong for me to want to do this? I plan on nursing her until 18 months old, this would just be a once in a while thing.....What do you other mommys think? While driving at city or highway speeds with the auto transmission in D4 (with green rectangular halo), a red halo appears around [D]2 for split second (a blink). Approximately15 seconds later, the transmission down-shifts (apparently to [D]2) while dashboard drive indicator and console shifter in D4. When this happens the dashboard instruments slowly fall towards zero (RPM, MPH) and the maintenance and SRS lights illuminate as if the ignition key was in II. In most cases, this event lasts 2 seconds, and ends with the transmission resuming D4 behavior and dashboard instruments going back to normal. In other cases, the car shuts off but can be restarted. The Honda techs replaced the transmission 3rd pressure switch due to ODB II code but this did not fix the problem. In fact, now that it's hotter (above 80), the problem occurs more frequently. Since this problem cannot be reproduced, the honda techs say they can't find the problem.

If we go into a large scale war with Iran that essentially has us in 3 diffrent wars at once, that could raise possible draft questions and all kind of problems. And this election has many more well known contenders then elections past, so it is sure to be big. I'm just glad I can vote in this one, because it will be sure to be one to remember.

My palm tree died already?

Hey I replanted a palm tree (a baby one about 5' tall) in my backyard last year in December and thought it would do well in the Northwest because of global warming. It did fine last Winter because the only cold days we had were in Feb and it didn't freeze. This year, however... It's been nothing but below freezing every day and a few days below zero. I dunno why your friends doc would induce but there should be a good reason why. At my 35 weeks and 4 day appointment, my doc told me the sooner I go into labor, the better, so this friday I am hoping he will tell me that at 37 weeks I can go because I am in SO much pain. If you have not lifted before it would be worth it for you to join a gym for that next three months and take advantage of the services of a trainer. That would probably be cheaper than buying all the weights you would need.
